Welcome to my blog! I’m Melissa Klein – mom to 2, wife to 1, photographer to many, self-proclaimed dork, hockey fanatic, and nature lover. I also have a slight obession with cameras. I’m sure this is the first thing on all photography “about me” pages, but I honestly can’t remember ever NOT having a camera around. First was my neon yellow 110 film camera (actually, I think before that was a white and red “vintage” Fisher Price camera with the flash block on top), followed by about 20 point and shoot cameras, Polaroid’s, camera phones… you name it, I’ve probably had it at some point. Some people might call it an obsession. I call it… well, OK. It’s an obsession. Could be worse, right?

My obsession is now my work, and I LOVE what I do! I love meeting new people, goofing around with the kids, and basically just having a great time doing what I enjoy. I love looking through photos, whether they are pictures I’ve taken for clients, or just some old snaps I’ve taken for myself. I have albums and albums full of photos from throughout my life – they are some of my most cherished possessions. My kids love looking through them just as much as I do. It’s so much fun to watch them going through old photos of me, their dad, their grandparents, themselves. Your photographs are one thing will be around for years to come, hopefully passed down from generation to generation. That’s what custom photography is all about, and that’s what I’m all about – capturing you and your family as you are now, with beautiful images that you will still love years down the road, and be able to pass on generation to generation. I hope I’m able to give you something that you will cherish for a lifetime.
