Grab yourself a drink and some popcorn – this is going to be a long post. :) I met Angela and Justin in August 2010 when they contacted me about doing maternity photos. I had never done a maternity session before at that point, so I was pretty excited to try something new. Angela was stunning, and these are still some of my favorite maternity photos. Fast forward a month later and Harrison was born – one of the cutest little guys you’ll ever meet! I still remember his newborn session very well – he was happy, but that boy did NOT want to sleep. Justin went out and got us some dinner (since we seemed to be in this for the long haul), and Harrison decided to pass out as we were taking a break. Once he fell asleep he was OUT. I’m not sure if I’ve ever had another baby sleep quite as soundly as he did. He turned into a squishy little ball of sleepy baby and we were able to get some awesome photos!

Next time I saw Harrison he was 6 months. Sitting up and all smiles. You’ve probably seen photos from his 6 month session posted all over my website because he was just so happy and full of great expressions – I had a lot of favorites. Fast forward another 6 months and I was taking Harrison’s 1 year photos already! He was on the move, and checking everything out. Still cute as ever, and his mom has THE best taste in clothes for him – I just love his outfits! Another awesome session, and hopefully there will be more to come in the future. I’ve had a great time working with you guys and watching Harrison grow up throughout the year. He just keeps getting cuter and cuter!

Enough talking – here are some photos! A couple of my favorites from each session. Enjoy!

Another session from our 85 degree October weekend, and another family that totally rocked it despite the crazy warm “fall” weather. I don’t think Weston was too keen on having his pictures taken at first, but he eventually warmed up and we had a lot of fun! Just a couple of quick photos for now – more to come. :)

I have to start out by saying that this was one of my most favorite sessions ever!  We had so much fun – Julie was a rockstar and up for anything, which meant that I got to try a lot of fun, new things as far as posing and lighting went, and we ended up with a ton of variety.  Only showing a few here, but expect more to pop up on the website in the near future.  :)

A big thanks to Julie’s mom, Sue, for buying Julie and Dave a gift certificate for the maternity session and my first year package.  It’s been so nice talking to Sue, and I’m really glad she introduced me to Julie and Dave – you guys are awesome, and I’m so glad that I’ll get to work with you throughout the year!  Can’t wait to meet your baby girl!  :)

This little guy decided to make his appearance a few weeks early. He was due on Christmas eve, but instead was born on December 8th a happy, healthy baby boy! Who could ask for a better Christmas present than that? Colin’s mom and dad brought him out to the studio for his session. He was such a champ – slept almost the entire time! He was doing so well that I lost track of time and we ended up going for almost 4 hours. But, the plus side to that is I ended up with SOOOO many cute images of this guy – some smiles, some holding his little toes, and even his first time sucking his thumb! It’s going to take me forever to go through them all, but I’m having a great time doing it.

I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek!

This is Aidan, one of my baby planners – I can’t believe he’s already 9 months!  Seems like just yesterday I was taking this guys newborn photos.  I get to see him every 3 months, and it has been so much fun watching him grow up and seeing the new tricks he’s learned each session.  This time was no exception.   He was just as happy and smiley as ever, but this boy was on the move! Officially crawling – and he’s fast. :)    Next session is going to include a cake smash – I can’t wait!

I was editing some more photos last night and came across this one of Harrison, and I just had to post it.  He looks so comfortable and squishy – I just love it!

I had such a great time with these guys last weekend! Angela is 36+ weeks pregnant and was absolutely STUNNING! Seriously, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anyone look so cute pregnant. She was glowing, and I could tell how excited they were for the arrival of their baby boy. I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek, and I’ll see you in a few weeks!
