So, I stayed up late two nights in a row working on what was going to be the most awesome Christmas card in the history of Christmas cards. Beautiful, ornate, 5×10 with a pearl finish. Yep, it was going to be gorgeous. Then I realized that Christmas is only a week away, and these things don’t even come with envelopes. By the time I actually got them out Christmas would be long over and my clients would all think I’m crazy. *sigh* I think next year I’ll start working on these in, say, August? I’m horrible with getting out Christmas cards on time (but I am going to do my Christmas shopping today!). Rather than let this awesome card go to waste, I thought I’d at least post it here for you guys to see. Merry Christmas, everyone, and have a great 2012!

Last weekend I met up with Harrison for his six month photos. Harrison is one of my first year baby planners (his newborn photos can be seen here), and it’s amazing how much he has already changed in the last six months. He went from a sleepy, curly little newborn to an adorable, bright-eyed baby who is already sitting by himself, was full of smiles, and I swear he was about to take off crawling across that rug a few times. He has the most beautiful brown eyes, and is already a little charmer.   :)

I had so much fun seeing you guys again! There were so many cute photos, I couldn’t resist posting all of these. Enjoy!

Last Sunday I had the chance to photograph my second Ethan of the week.   This little guy was about 13 months old, and was so much fun!   Of all the toys we had there, his favorite thing to play with was an ugly plastic yellow chair - he loved pushing it all over the place.  Makes for a good walker, I guess.   He also loved the firetruck, and the sled was a hit, too.  Such a happy guy, and mom and dad were great, too.  :)

I had a great time working with you guys, and glad you made it through all the snow!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.  :)

This is Aidan, one of my baby planners – I can’t believe he’s already 9 months!  Seems like just yesterday I was taking this guys newborn photos.  I get to see him every 3 months, and it has been so much fun watching him grow up and seeing the new tricks he’s learned each session.  This time was no exception.   He was just as happy and smiley as ever, but this boy was on the move! Officially crawling – and he’s fast. :)    Next session is going to include a cake smash – I can’t wait!

This session started out a disaster (on my part) but ended up going great!  To start off, I had my times mixed up – a first for me.  Got home around 12:30pm from taking the kids out, and realized that my session (which in my head, was at 4:30) was at 12:30!  I dropped the kids off and booked over to the studio.  Luckily, Michelle and Brenden were still there.  I have never felt like such a knob.  I showed up in my sweats and a hoody – I hate to think what was going through their minds when they saw me – LOL!   I promise, I normally come much better kept than I did that day.  :)   Just wanted to apologize again to Michele and Brenden – I hope the photos make up for it.

I had so much fun with these guys.  Brenden is a total ham.  I swear, I could probably do an entire storyboard with all the different faces he made.  And I am totally a big kid at heart (some may call it immature…), so I had a great time messing around with him trying to get some smiles.  And boy, did we get some smiles!  I wish I could post more photos on here for you guys to see, but I want to keep some a surprise while I’m still finishing up the last few.  Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with the “H” Family on Saturday for some family photos.  We were planning on starting with some outdoor shots, but the weather was not agreeing so we headed over to the studio.  Small world – right when they stepped out of their vehicle, we both immediately recognized each other.  Turns out we played volleyball together almost 10 years ago!  :)

These guys were a photographers dream!  I love it when families get dressed up for a shoot.  They were all coordinating, and little Mia had the most adorable outfits ever!  I don’t even think we got to them all.  She was such a ham, and I loved her big cheesy smile.  So much personality in such a little package.

I had a great time photographing you guys (and seeing you again!).  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

I met up with Ellie, her parents, and her grandma last weekend for Ellie’s one year photos.  She did fantastic!  Such a adorable girl, and she gave me the biggest toothy smiles ever, especially when riding on her rocking horse.   She LOVES that thing!  :)   Oh, and incase your wondering where we founds such humongously perfect apples – they’re fake.   :)

Thanks again, and I hope you guys enjoy your photos!

I had a photo session this morning with Ada and her parents.  What a gorgeous family, and super nice to boot!  We had a great time, and little Ada was totally adorable (and always on the run – LOL!).  I started editing this evening, and I just had to share one so far.  I love black and white photos, and I think it worked perfectly with this one.  Of course, the color version turned out really beautiful as well.  Just this one for now – more to come!

I had the pleasure to meet up with the “R” family last Saturday for some family photos.  Even at 9am it was already getting pretty hot and muggy, but these guys were troopers!  Teagan was the perfect little model, smiling and posing for every shot.  Bryce was the typical adorable-yet-busy one year old – he definitely made me work for his photos (which I am SO used to – my kids are constantly running as soon as I bust out the camera – LOL!).  All the effort was well worth it – these kids are absolutely adorable, and we were able go get some great shots.  We had a fun time, and I was secretly jealous that they were able to go into the water towards the end of our session.  :)   Thanks again, and I hope you guys enjoy your photos!

I can’t believe this little guy is 3 months old already! Time flies. I had a great time meeting up with Jess, Kevin, and Aiden again for his photo shoot. Last time he slept through everything. This time he was wide awake and all smiles (well, mostly all smiles). Amazing how quickly they change. I hope you enjoy your photos!
