You want timeless portraits that will show your family’s love for one another.  I want to create artwork that instantly brings you back to this place in time when you look at it.  Let’s work together to create something beautiful!   Please read below for more information on the different types of sessions I offer.  Don’t see what you’re looking for?  Please don’t hesitate to ask – I love working with my clients to create something meaningful.

The session fee is $250, and includes the session itself, use of the studio wardrobe for mothers, babies and children, and an optional design appointment.  Please note that the session fee does not include any digital files.    More information on some of the different types of prints and products can be found here.   Please inquire for full price/product guide.

For those wanting to schedule both a maternity session and a newborn session, I offer a Maternity + Newborn Collective.

The Materntiy + Newborn Collective is $400 (a savings of $100 if scheduled individually) and includes a complimentary set of birth announcements.

For those wanting to capture all the important milestones and changes that happen in your baby's first year, I offer a First Year Collective.  The First Year Collective includes three sessions, which can be scheduled for maternity, newborn, 4 months (better head control, tummy time), 6-8 months (sitting unassisted), and one year (standing, walking).

If your baby is already past the four month mark, I also offer a  family session at 18 months that can be part of your First Year Collective.

The Collective Membership is $500 (a savings of $250 if scheduled individually), and includes three sessions as well as a complimentary set of birth announcements if a newborn session is part of your collective.

Maternity sessions are for capturing this short but meaningful time in a mother’s life. It's truly amazing, the amount of love you can feel for someone you have yet to meet.

I focus on capturing the connection between you and your unborn baby, and celebrating your ever-changing, beautiful belly.

These sessions are best when scheduled between 32 and 36 weeks, where your bump will be showing but you're still comfortable.

The session lasts approximately 1 hour, and I encourage both parents as well as older siblings to join in the session.

Maternity clients have the option of using anything from my curated studio wardrobe, which includes a gorgeous offering of gowns, dresses, robes and other delicate pieces. Be sure to visit the studio wardrobe page here if you haven't had a look already.

Many moms choose to have professional hair and makeup done prior to their maternity session. My studio has a dedicated space for pampering if you choose to add this to your session. I often work with Sarah Elizabeth Artistry, and she does an amazing job of enhancing one's natural beauty.

Newborn sessions are perfect for capturing those brand new tiny details. They are family-centered, and aim to capture the love your have for your newest little one in a natural, timeless way.

Newborn sessions run smoothest when they are photographed between 1 and 2 weeks of age. Because my schedule fills quickly, it's best to book your session before your baby is born. Your session date is based on your estimated due date and can be adjusted once your little one arrives.

Most clients choose to have their newborn session at my spacious St. Paul studio. Here you can sit back, relax, and enjoy some snacks and drinks while I photograph your newest family member.

The session itself will take anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on how many breaks we take for feeding and comforting baby.

Feel free to bring along any sentimental items such as baby blankets, wraps, etc, but don’t worry too much about what baby will wear. I typically photograph newborns in a plain white onesie or a diaper cover, and most of the wraps and blankets seen in my portfolio are from the studio and will be available to use for your newborn session.

Babies change so quickly, especially in that first year!  I want you to be able to remember every little detail from when they were this small, because it all changes in the blink of an eye.

These sessions are a great way to photograph your little one as they reach different milestones such as grabbing toes, sitting unassisted, standing and learning to walk.

The time to reach a certain milestone will be different for each baby. Better head control and grabbing toes usually happens somewhere between 4 and 6 months. Sitting unassisted can be anywhere from 6 months to 8 months. Standing and learning to walk can be anywhere from 8 months to 1 year or older.

I also offer very simple cake smash sessions for one year old babies. These sessions are on a plain white backdrop with minimal decorations.

My baby sessions are simple and natural, keeping the focus on your sweet baby. I have a variety of timeless outfits, onesies, blankets and natural wooden toys that are available to use, many of which can be seen throughout my portfolio.

Like all of my other sessions, the entire immediate family can be included at no additional charge.

Family sessions are another favorite of mine.  They are fun, relaxed and aim to capture the natural interactions between you and your loved ones.  There will be some posed/smiling/looking at the camera photos, but there will also be some candid photos that show the true emotion and love of your family. I want to show your family's closeness, and I want you to feel something when looking at these photos. No matter if your babies are infants or adults, these photos will always hold a special place in your heart.

Family sessions are held either at my St. Paul studio or at a location of your choice. Studio sessions give more flexibility in terms of time of day and weather, but outdoor sessions provide a beautiful back drop, especially as the weather changes from season to season.

Most outdoor sessions are photographed around the Twin Cities area or just north of the Twin Cities. I have a few spots that I use frequently that are quiet, beautiful, and dog friendly. Have a special place in mind? I always welcome your input and ideas to create something truly unique for your family.
