I made the trek out to Rush City for Wyatt’s newborn session earlier this winter. Most of the newborn sessions I do are more of the posed/studio type, so I was really excited to do an in-home session with less props/posing and just photographing Wyatt in his nursery. I really love how they turned out, and want to do more of this type of newborn work. I think it’s great that it has a more personal feel, being in his own crib, with his own blankets, being rocked, etc. Don’t get me wrong – I love the studio newborn work, too, but it was a nice change of pace. :)
These are fabulous! I just love this style of newborn session, and you did an amazing job with it. What gorgeous memories for this family!
These are so sweet! My favorite is that backlit window light shot of his Mama giving him a kiss. It’s just precious!
These are amazing. I have a slight polka dot addiction, so those first two make me so happy. Great work.
Aww! These are to be cherished! I love the backlight ones!! This is my favorite type of newborn session! Move over posed here comes lifestyle!! You did an amazing job!
