No matter if your babies are a few months old or entering adulthood, I would love to document this time for you - the posed moments, the candid moments, and everything in-between.
Whether you choose to have your session at my spacious Lino Lakes studio or an outdoor location, I want your session to be relaxed and stress-free. This starts at the planning stages, before we ever meet. I will help coordinate outfits for the entire family, and help you decide on the perfect location. I can also coordinate professional hair and makeup for mom before the session. All you have to do is show up, relax, and love on your people.
Family sessions include a mix of simple posed images where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling, along with candid, emotive photos that show your family interacting and loving one another.

I want my clients to feel both comfortable and beautiful during their sessions. For those who would like extra styling help, I offer a studio wardrobe full of natural cotton, silk and linen gowns, dresses, slips, robes and more, in a wide range of sizes. Studio wardrobe options are available for women, babies and children for all sessions (I have some neutral tops for dads, too!).
Maternity clients especially love this option, but almost all of the dresses and gowns will work for both maternity and non-maternity portraits. Have a special request or need help finding the perfect outfit? Let me know and I'm happy to help find what you're looking for.

Family and baby/milestone sessions can be booked as a full session, a simplicity session, or added on to a First Year Collective. Full sessions have a
$300 session fee
(no digital files are included in the session fee)
Most clients purchase a mixture of artwork and digital files after their session. The total price depends on what you want to create.

what are your family sessions like?
To be honest, ALL my sessions are family sessions. Even if the focus is on your pregnant belly, your newborn baby or your toddler, the session will still include family photos. Sessions are relaxed, fun, and never rushed (some little ones take more time to warm up, and that's totally ok!).
how long does a family session last?
Full family sessions are typically 45 minutes to an hour in length. The sessions are never rushed, and leave plenty of time for your kids to warm up to the camera. They also allow time for an outfit change if you'd like - especially for milestone baby photos.
Simplicity sessions are roughly 20 minutes long.
DO YOU OFFER EXTENDED FAMILY SESSIONS?
Yes! I photograph several extended family sessions a year, both in studio and on location. Session fees may vary for extended family sessions, depending on how many people and families will be included in your session.
DO you recommend professional hair and makeup for FAMILY sessions?
Having professional hair and makeup done before your session is a great way to treat yourself so that you'll look and feel your best for photos. I work with some amazing HMUAs who are fantastic at enhancing your natural beauty. A little soft makeup and false lashes go a long way!
do you offer outdoor or on-location sessions?
Definitely! Although most of my clients opt for a studio session, I do offer outdoor or on-location sessions as well. I have several go-to places that are quiet, beautiful, and dog-friendly if you want to bring along your four-legged family members.
If you are looking to have your session photographed at a location that's special to you (your home, cabin, favorite vacation spot, etc) I am available to travel and welcome your input and ideas to create something truly unique for your family.
