Where is your studio located?

I have a newly-built 1600 sq foot studio located just 15 minutes north of the cities in Lino Lakes.  It’s a gorgeous studio with minimalist styling (click HERE to see more photos).  The all-white walls are lined with 9 foot tall windows for ample natural light, and there is white wood flooring throughout the entire studio.  A coffee/water bar and client lounge area make a cozy hang-out for your newborn session or in-studio ordering appointment.  Outdoor sessions are often held just north of the Twin Cities (Blaine, Anoka, Lino Lakes) but we can work together to find the perfect location for your session.

How do I book a portrait session?

The quickest way to reach me is to email through the contact tab at the top of this page.  I can usually respond the fastest this way (and while you’re there, don’t forget to check the box to sign up for my newsletter so you’re the first to know about what’s going on at the studio, model calls, and upcoming events).  In addition to the contact link, you can email me directly at info@melissakleinphotography.com.

What happens after I book my session?

After you decide to book your session with me, I will send an invoice for the session fee to reserve your date.  We will then schedule a pre-session consultation to start planning your session (this can be done either over email, on the phone or in person at my studio). We can discuss clothing, location options, and go over any questions you might have.  We can also nail down a session date at this time if it hasn’t already been discussed.

Yes!  Gift certificates can be purchased for any denomination, and can be mailed out either to the purchaser or directly to the recipient.  If you are having a baby shower and booking a newborn session with Melissa Klein Photography, I offer photography gift registries, too, so that friends and family can gift you a part of your portrait session.  Contact me for more details.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes!  I understand that custom photography can be a big investment.  A lot of clients tell me they have saved up for quite a while, just to come to me for their family portraits, and I feel honored!  If you need to split up your payments, we can work with that.  Payments can be spread over 6 months.  No products will be ordered until payment is made in full, but I promise you they will be worth the wait.
