Let me start by saying what a fun session this was! I don’t photograph a ton of seniors, so it’s always a nice change of pace for me. Anna came from Roseville for her senior portrait photography session, and is (was) a senior at Perpich Arts High School in Golden Valley, MN. She plays the viola, so I wanted to incorporate that into some of her images, as well as her beloved dog Christy (who was SO sweet!). This session was photographed shortly after moving into my studio at Vandalia Tower. It was also before the building was renovated, and there were a lot of cool little nooks to check out and explore for photos. We start off in the studio with Anna and Christy, and then we photographed Anna at different spots around the building. Definitely a unique session, as the area in back (between our building and what will be Lake Monster Brewery (opening this fall – http://lakemonsterbrewing.com/) is now on it’s way to being a GORGEOUS patio, with hanging lights and trees – much different from the vines and tall grass (err…weeds) that were back there previously. I miss the natural area that was back there, but I’m so excited to see the building and outside area coming together. Really happy that we were able to get these images while we could – they are definitely one of a kind.
Love the violin shots!
I love that seniors are now incorporating things they love into their sessions. I wish that was a thing when I was a senior. My favorite is the one with her dog. She’ll treasure that one for life.
Beautiful girl and beautiful session!
She is beautiful! Love that you incorporated her violin!
