I first met this family after they were gifted a First Year Collective by a friend of theirs who was looking for an Excelsior family photographer. They had just moved into their new home about a month earlier, and wanted their first family photos to be held there. And what a gorgeous home it was! So much natural light and big, beautiful windows. I don’t photograph too many in-home sessions, but I absolutely love doing them for a change of pace. They are very personal, full of personality, and always a good time. I did still bring a few wardrobe options and a blanket with, but other than that, I love to use whatever is around the home for photos.
When I first got to their Excelsior home, I was greeted by two huge, fluffy dogs – Bernie and Harry. I am a HUGE dog person – the bigger and fluffier, the better – so I was excited to see these two and include them in our session. And the main attraction was baby Harrison, who was full of smiles from the get-go. Grandma Jin was there to help with Harrison, so of course she was included in the photos.
I could tell from the start just how loved and adored this little guy was, and I can’t wait to share photos from his one year and 18 month sessions. But for now, here are some favorites from our first session together.

What a sweet family!
Oh these are so good! Oh and the pups!! I may be biased as I have a berner and a golden! And how wonderful they were gifted your talent!
I love it so much! And i love how you share a little about each session. Makes the pictures so much more relatable.
So sweet and beautiful!
