I was first contacted by this wonderful family when they were looking for a Blaine newborn photographer. Little Bergen was just 2 weeks old when she came to my Lino Lakes studio for her session. She came in sleepy, but woke up and wanted to eat for most of the session. We decided she must have been going though a growth spurt because mom said she was eating about twice as much as she had been.
Mom opted to have her hair and makeup done in studio by the super talented Annie with SOCOJO artistry. Annie did an amazing job as always creating a beautiful, natural look for mom. While mom was being pampered, I started photographing baby with dad, and baby by herself. Little Bergen loved being swaddled with her arms in, but would wake up whenever I tried taking her arms out to change things up a bit. This lead for a good mix of sleepy and awake photos, and some great yawning photos.
Mom borrowed a dress from my studio wardrobe collection that looked absolutely amazing on her. Dad stuck with neutrals, which worked out perfect for these natural light photos in studio.
