I typically only photograph a handful of seniors each year, so this was a lot of fun for me.  This is my neighbor, Abby, and we’ve been planning this session for the last couple of years.  Her session was at the home of a family friend, and it was absolutely AMAZING!  I was in photography heaven with the perfect yard, a gorgeous evening and of course, my beautiful subject.  This *almost* makes me want to photograph seniors more often.  :)

I have known Abby since she was 8 years old.  My oldest kid is now 8.  HOW IN THE HECK DID THIS HAPPEN!?!  In the blink of an eye, she went from the kid who was letting my huskies drink out of her water bottle, to an amazing young woman who is now graduating high school.  It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long, but the reality is, time goes by way too fast.  Before I know it, my 8 year old will be graduating high school (oh man…hear come the tears).

I will say this – I hope my kids turn out to be even as great as this one.  She is kind, generous, funny and smart.  Everything you’d want in a neighbor/daughter/friend.  She’s been like a big sister to my kids, and we all adore her.  We wish Abby lots of love, and I know she’ll do amazing with whatever the future brings.
