I don’t photograph a ton of senior sessions, but they are always a nice change of pace when I do. I photographed Andrew’s older brother a couple years back, and was so happy to hear from this amazing family again, asking me to be their senior and family photographer. They are fun, they are hilarious, and just genuinely nice people. I loved joking around with them during their session, and I feel like I could have (and probably did) sit with mom for hours talking about photos and life in general.
We photographed their senior/family combo session at a local college where mom works. The location was beyond gorgeous! There were so many great spots for photos, and we had no trouble getting a lot of variety in their images. The fall colors were at their peak, but the weather was not totally cooperating. We made it through the session quickly to beat most of the rain, and you wouldn’t even know that we were getting sprinkled on in the bridge photos. Luckily, it didn’t last too long and the rest of the session was fairly dry.
Andrew is interested in Archery, so we made sure to incorporate his bow into some of the images. He attended Blaine High School, and will be joining the military after graduation. Wishing Andrew well as he finishes up his last year of high school, and looking forward to seeing this crew again in a few years when their youngest graduates.

These are great shots. I love the selfie shot at the end. How fun.
It’s such a special time to capture for seniors. I love how the whole family joined in this session!
I love the color scheme they chose for their outfits. & the fact that he incorporated something so personal into his senior shots. Great job!
Great session!!
