This past week has been pretty brutal. I’ve been out with pneumonia, and pretty much didn’t leave the couch for a solid 4 days. I’ve never felt so exhausted in my entire life, but on the plus side, I finally got caught up on my sleep! Thank you to all my clients who have been so patient with me. I’m finally back in action, and thought I’d share one of my favorite sessions from this past fall to start off a long weekend of editing and updating my blog.
I’ve been photographing this awesome family since their oldest daughter’s newborn session, and I absolutely love them! Mom has THE best taste in clothing, hands down, and always has their family dressed to perfection. The girls are so well behaved, and absolutely adorable! Leela is a total ham, and I loved her posing. I’m sure Evie will be doing the same in a few short years.
When mom sent me a photo of their outfits before the session, I just knew that we had to take some photos in an urban setting. And as much as I hate going downtown for a portrait session, I knew Mill City would be the perfect location for their family session. I was able to get a permit, and we photographed their session around the Mill City Ruins area. It was busy as always, but not as bad as I remember from previous sessions. It ended up being a gorgeous evening, filled with lots of laughs and smiles right up until the end when a certain someone face planted on the sidewalk. Luckily, she was no worse for the ware and was still smiling after the fall. The littlest ones are always the toughest. :)
