If you’ve been to my studio recently, you’ll probably recognize this family. I have a large framed and matted Hahnamuhle cotton art print of them and their pups displayed on an easel in my sitting area. With the beautiful colors and the ornate wood frame, it’s one of my favorites. Amanda originally contacted me when they were looking for a family photographer in Andover MN. She was referred by another client of mine, which I always love to hear. Amanda wanted some portraits of her and her husband with their two Samoyed show dogs. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge dog/pet lover, so I was super excited for this session. I tell my clients to not take offense, but I probably spend more time talking to the dogs than I do with the humans. Especially big, fluffy dogs like these!
We decided upon a quiet, dog-friendly wooded area for their family photos. It was a gorgeous fall evening, and the sun setting behind the trees made for a beautiful backdrop of brown, red and orange. These are some of my favorite photos ever, and everyone loves looking at the framed print as they come into the studio.
