I first met Logan’s mom and dad when they hired me to photograph a session of just the two of them and their gorgeous pups. If you’ve been to my studio, you have probably seen the giant framed sample I have from that session, which can be seen here. When they added another human to the mix and were looking into Andover baby photography, they contacted me again to photograph their newest addition.
Logan was signed up for my First Year Collective, which included three sessions (typically scheduled for newborn, 6 months and one year). His newborn session was photographed at my St. Paul studio (those photos can be seen here). I had just moved into my current studio in Lino Lakes when it was time for his 6 month/sitter session, and I was so excited to have them out to the new space! Logan was sitting like a champ at his milestone session (I usually suggest waiting to schedule 6 month photos until babies are able to sit unassisted). He was a very serious baby, but teething could have also contributed to that. Still totally adorable.
By the time his one year session rolled around, he was still teething and drooling, but mostly a happy boy. He loved my baby shark toy (I have yet to meet a baby that doesn’t smile when they hear it). He is a tall boy, and had already grown so much since his six month session. His hair was noticeably longer, and his little personality was really starting to shine through. He loved playing peekaboo with the curtains and clapping, as well as chewing on his bear and toy mouse that he brought with.
It’s always so great for me to get to watch these little ones grow in that first year (and often, year after year beyond that!). This family now has a beautiful album that they can look back on and enjoy these memories for many years to come.
