Jakob – Cottage Grove newborn photographer

Blogging another old session as I (try) to get caught up sharing all the babies I’ve photographed over the last year or two.  I met baby Jakob when his parents were looking for a Cottage Grove newborn photographer.  He was three weeks old on the day of his session, and was just a tiny one, weighting under 7lbs.  He was named after his grandpa Jack, and I was told he already sometimes looks like his grandpa sometimes with the facial expressions he makes.

Jakob slept like a champ for most of his session, but when he did wake up, it was game over with the swaddling.  He did not want his arms swaddled, and just wanted to stretch.  I think that’s totally adorable , and I’m all about capturing babies as they are, doing what they do.
