Heirloom children’s portraits in Minnesota

What a fun family!  Mom reached out when she was looking for someone to take heirloom children’s portraits in Minnesota.  She brought in some amazing outfits, and besides photographing the kids individually and together, she wanted the classic black and white children’s photos that I’m known for in the Twin Cities.

Maverick, Maksim, Mercedes, and Makaio were such a great bunch of kids.  Maksim has been dealing with a lot health-wise, and is such a trooper.  You can read more about his journey on his Pray for Maksim page HERE.  You wouldn’t know that he has been through so much – he is such a happy kid – funny, dancing, flexing.  Couldn’t stop smiling. Mom wanted some serious looks but it was tough to get them NOT to smile.  Here are some of my favorites:
