Oliver | Eden Prairie newborn photographer

I was first contacted by Oliver’s mom when she was looking for an Eden Prairie newborn photographer.  He was a little over a week old when he came in for his session, and over 9 pounds.  Such a cute little squish!  He didn’t sleep much for his newborn session (he had fallen asleep the ride over), but I follow a baby-led approach to photos and we just went with it.  He gave me tons of eye contact, which I love.  It was actually pretty amazing – he would already turn his head and watch me.  Made it a little tough for profile photos, but I thought it was pretty funny.

Big sister Amelia came along for the session and she is already so in love with her little brother.  She was so sweet with him, and I absolutely love the snuggly family photos.  Wardrobe pieces for mom and big sis were borrowed from my studio wardrobe collection.
