Blogging this session from a while ago, and feeling like I have SO many session to blog that I’ll never catch up. But, I’m trying and these are too beautiful not to share.
I met this family when they were looking for a Cottage Grove newborn photographer, and I’m so glad they found me! Beau was 4 weeks old when he came in for his newborn session. Big brother, who was 3, came along and initially didn’t want anything to do with photos. I’ve got tricks up my sleeve, though, and after I asked him if he wanted to help me take photos of his baby brother, he quickly warmed up to me and the camera. I ended up with some of my favorite newborn sibling photos ever, because he was such a sweet big brother.
Baby Beau was a bit grunty, but slept like a champ. One quick feeding and he was good to go! Big brother wasn’t always keen on being in photos at first, so I had to get creative and hide some stickers on Beaut for him to find, which made for some very sweet photos. He also loved giving his baby brother kisses.
Mom chose two beautiful dresses from my studio wardrobe, and I had neutral tops for dad and big brother. They all looked fantastic, and this ended up being one of my favorite newborn sessions ever.
