I was first contacted by this family when they were looking for studio newborn photos in Blaine. We had scheduled a consultation to meet, but their little guy decided to show up three weeks early!
The day of his newborn session was overcast and snowing outside, but the light in the studio was gorgeous, and it was a cozy 74 degrees – perfect for a sleepy baby. When they arrived, he was wearing an outfit from Kyte Baby that was so cute I just had to get a couple photos with it before we got him changed and swaddled. Dad also wanted some of him in that outfit because he had a matching shirt for it – how cute is that? (Side note – I just realized both of the photos I chose of him with the outfit are in black and white, so you can’t tell that it matches dad’s shirt, but I loved the simplicity and color of it). Mom wore a gorgeous dress from my studio wardrobe collection, which is available to all my clients for their sessions.
Parker came in sleeping and started that way the entire time. He didn’t even wake up to eat, which is pretty rare for a newborn session. He gave me a few smiles, which were some of my favorite photos. Looking at these, you can just tell how in love mom and dad are with their new baby boy.
