Extended family photo session in studio – Aderinkomi Family

I was first contacted by a member of this family when he was looking for an extended family photo session in studio to commemorate his mom’s 70th birthday.  I think this was the largest extended family photo session I’ve ever had in my studio, but it worked out great!  There were 16 people total and we had plenty of room (I think my previous high number of people for a session was 15).  I couldn’t believe mom/grandma was celebrating her 70th – she looked absolutely amazing, and I honestly would have never guessed she was 70 years old.

I had a fantastic photographing this group, who were full of love and laugher.  They brought some of their own “props” for the session as well, which included giant numbers, a 70th birthday banner, and a beautiful gold backdrop for some added bling – a few little touches to make their session truly special. They also brought a change of clothes so they could have some special photos in their traditional Nigerian clothing, which was absolutely stunning.
