I met baby Harrison and his parents when his grandma was looking for a Lino Lakes newborn photographer. The session was a gift to her daughter, and I’m so glad we crossed paths. I went to deliver the gift certificate, and it turns out that grandma lives right down the road from my new studio!
Harrison and his family came to my studio when he was just over two weeks old. He was also about a week overdue, which sometimes can make for babies that aren’t very sleepy. He was awake for most of his newborn session, but he was content, and awake newborn photos are always some of my favorites (and they seem to be parent favorites, too!). He eventually fell asleep toward the end of out session. It seemed like being in his daddy’s arms was the trick – he passed out as soon as dad held him, and we were able to get our sleepy photos after that.
