I first met these three when they came to my studio for a booking consultation when looking for a Maple Grove baby and family photographer. We talked a bit about what types of photos they were looking for (a mixture of family photos and candid photos), how they planned on bringing their dog with to the session, clothing suggestions and location ideas. We decided on a quiet little park that was dog-friendly and not too far of a drive from their home.
The day of our session was unseasonably warm and muggy (90 degrees at the end of September!). They were troopers, though, and even though I was a hot mess, they looked great and handled it beautifully. I stopped and bought some waters and filled a cooler with ice before I headed out to the session, so we all had a much needed cold drink when we were done. We finished up right before a storm rolled through, bringing along with it some cooler weather.
