{Avery – 1 year} | Blaine MN family photography

I met up with this lovely Blaine family for their photo session back in September.  It was a WARM fall day.  I remember thinking how much I dislike the September heat.  But, school was closed today for the fifth time this month due to the temperatures being too cold, so a warm day actually sounds pretty good right about now.  I hear it’s going to warm up to 25 degrees tomorrow!  Sad when that sounds pretty good.  :)

I love to photograph one year sessions (or any session with a mobile baby/toddler/pet) outdoors whenever possible, because this is typically such a busy age, and they always seem to be on the move.  Avery was an absolute angel, though, and made my job pretty dang easy. I brought along a little crate for her to sit on, and she did a great job of staying still long enough for me to get some great shots.  When she smiles, her entire face lights up.  She is an absolute doll, and at one point when she was siting down, she put her little hands together like she was saying her prayers and it was just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.  Definitely one of my favorite photos from her session.  :)
