I originally met with Renata for a consultation when she was looking for a baby photographer in Eden Prairie. My studio is in Lino Lakes, but often have clients travel an hour or more to come to my studio, and I am so humbled every time. That means that they really love my work and want to work specifically with me, because I’m sure there are hundreds of other photographers that are closer in proximity to them. Seriously – for those that come from near and far, thank you!!
This was originally going to be a motherhood/baby session, but the rest of the family decided they wanted in on photos at the last minute, so we made it a motherhood and family session. Annie from SOCOJO artistry did an amazing job pampering Renata at the studio with hair and makeup, creating a beautiful and natural look. During our consultation, Renata had picked out a dress that she absolutely loved from my studio wardrobe, and it looked amazing on her.
While hair and makeup was going on, Maya was sleeping in the car. When she woke up just as hair and makeup were finishing up, and Maya and the rest of the family came in to the studio. Maya didn’t sleep great the night before and she actually popped a tooth at her session (!), so she wasn’t feeling super smiley but we still got a lot of cute photos where she wasn’t chewing on her hand and drooling.
This family ordered a beautiful custom designed Heirloom album from their session, as well as a framed print. I loved their session so much that I also ordered an album sample with their images, so you may have seen that at the studio (a beautiful light pink 9×12 Heirloom album – it’s gorgeous!).
