As a Brooklyn Park newborn photographer, I absolutely love it when clients sign up for my First Year Collective.  It’s a great way to have a cohesive set of images of your baby that will look great together in an album or on your walls (or both!).

Today I’m sharing a glimpse at a year’s worth of baby Cleo photos, from her mom’s maternity session to her one year session.  Cleo’s parents signed up for my three session First Year Collective, which includes three sessions scheduled anywhere between maternity and 18 months.  The most popular choices for scheduling the three sessions are maternity/newborn/1 year, or newborn/6 months/1 year.  Mom came in and modeled some new dresses for me, so the maternity session was an add-on to their other three sessions.

For Lauren’s maternity session, she came in at 32 weeks, which is a perfect time if you want to have beautiful photos of your growing belly, while not being too uncomfortable yet.  About two months after the maternity session, baby Cleo was born.  She was 8 days old and just 6 pounds when she came in for her newborn session.  Mom said she was up all night for some reason before her newborn session, but that worked out great for photos because she slept like a champ.  She was awake a bit at first so we were able to get some photos of those big beautiful eyes of hers, and then she slept for the rest of her session.

Cleo’s sitter session was postponed a bit, but when she finally came in she was sitting like a champ, and had changed so much already!  Mom, dad and Cleo all borrowed clothing from my studio wardrobe collection, and they looked amazing.  Cleo was happy but tired, and didn’t last long but we got a lot of cute photos in the short time she was awake and happy.

For her last session, Cleo was closer to 18 months and had changed so much again!  She now rocks some adorable pink glasses, and as mom said, “she’s all cheeks and eyeballs”.  Seriously adorable, and although she had a bit of stranger danger at first, she warmed up after a bit and was ALL smiles.  She was a very happy, busy toddler, and I had such a great time watching her grow over the last year and a half.
