This is an OLD session I never got around to blogging, but it means a lot to me and I wanted to share it still. You see, when this mom contacted me for newborn photos, she mentioned wanting a very light/neutral session, and that they were going to be wearing light colors and wanted simple photos. Their son was born prematurely and was on oxygen, so we kept things pretty natural and un-posed. This ended up being one of my favorite sessions ever. I loved the look of the bright/light color palate, and the more natural posing. I love their outfits, and it was from this point forward that I knew that I wanted to change the direction of my studio work. No more bright colors and props. No more unnatural posing. Just simple, timeless photos of parents and their new baby.
