As the year comes towards an end for this Minneapolis photographer, I like to look back and reflect on how things went. Overall, this was a fantastic year! For the first time in a long time, I had a great work/life balance. I was able to cut back on working weekends, take a few family trips, attend all of my kids games and tournaments, and still have time to put a lot of care and effort into my business and my clients. And for that, I am SO thankful!
Here is my breakdown of how 2022 went:
1016760 new dresses bought for the studio wardrobe (OK – that’s an exaggeration, but that’s how it felt)
53: full sessions
14: returning clients from previous years (some who have been coming for 10+ years!)
13: First Year Membership clients this year (I love watching these babies grow!)
7: headshots (mainly for F&M Bank – I have a great partnership with them!)
4: simplicity sessions (something new I’ll be offering for 2023)
3: small events photographed
It is absolutely humbling to have so many clients trust me year after year to document their family. Some reach out every year for family photos, and some reach out when there’s a new baby or milestone. Either way, I appreciate it, and I appreciate you – thank you all for a great year!
