If you’ve looked through my blog posts, you can probably tell that all of my sessions are very family-centered.  When Hayes’s mom was searching for a family photographer in Shoreview, she came across my website and loved that we could do her youngest son’s one year photos, as well as family photos, at my photography studio in Lino Lakes.

Hayes is one of the smiliest babies I have ever met.  His 3 year old big brother, which was also full of smiles, came along for the family portion of the photos.  He had other plans, though, and wanted to be in all the photos with Hayes. Such a great big brother! He also had all the questions for me – how the lights work, if I have dogs at my studio, what was behind every door…he was interested in everything (especially his brothers cake that mom and dad brought for a cake smash!).

Hayes LOVED his cake.  He totally got into it, and made a huge adorable mess of both the cake and himself.  Typically babies either love the cake or aren’t interested much.  He was definitely interested, and it made for some really fun photos.
