When Mary’s mom was looking for a Lake Elmo senior portrait photographer, she contacted me and I was so happy she did! I photographed Mary’s brother’s senior photos a few years earlier, and loved working with their family.
Mary wanted her photos at their gorgeous home and property in Lake Elmo. When I got there and saw the space, I was almost giddy. Huge, gorgeous gardens, grassy fields, a pond, a farm building, a beautiful house with a big wrap around deck…it was a photographers dream! When I first arrived Mary was getting dressed so I scouted out the areas trying to figure out where to go first. We started on their beautiful porch/deck area, and then made our way to the garden. The field was next, followed by some photos by their beautiful red barn and a pretty awesome corn field (I’ve never seen corn stalks so tall!).
Most seniors do a couple outfit changes, which worked out perfect since these were taken at her home. I loved the outfits she chose, and I had so much fun working with her. We laughed a lot, and Mary was an absolute delight to spend the evening with. I have no doubt she’ll continue to do great things in her future.
